So many times I have clients inquire about large prints to go in a living room or office. I always ask where and how they intend to display the print because it makes a huge difference. There are a lot of factors to take into account including the type of frame and mat you will be using, the room size etc. I’ve found that most people really don’t know what size they want when they come in my door or usually underestimate the size. So I thought I would make a scale graphic showing what different size prints would look like over a typical sofa.
The sofa is scaled to 78″ or 6 1/2 feet. The sizes on the wall represent some of the large print sizes I offer. There are many many more sizes available though. Also note that the sizes here do not take into account the size of the matting and frame.
