This is so cool and it’s 1000x better than YouTube if you want to show off some vids in HD quality. yes REAL HD quality. I had tried uploading some slideshows/videos to YouTube in the past but it always just kills the quality. YouTube always made movies really pixelated so when you would view it at full size on a big monitor or TV screen it looked horrible. (Yes I hook my laptop up to my TV how geeky is that…right?) On Vimeo if you upload at HD it plays at HD and it’s even downloadable at full size. This creates all kind of new possibilities for distributing HD slideshows/videos of my work to potential clients and to couples after an event!
