First of all, I’ve been a PC hold-out for a long time. Mainly because I love tinkering and building them, something that is not so easy to do with Macs. Secondly I’m just so use to the Windows way of doing things and have so much invested in software that I was reluctant to switch over. I mean that would be like me giving up my beloved Nikons for Canon! Never!

Anyway I’ve been getting frustrated with my PC over the last few months and decided that when my current desktop gives up the ghost I would make the switch. So the other day I went out and bought my very first “training” Mac. It’s a cool little MacBook and it rocks. I needed a newer, smaller laptop but I also needed to get use to the Mac OS before I switch over completely. Well needless to say I’m in love and can’t wait to go 100% Mac. Oh well for now at least I can say that I’m no longer the last photographer in the world without a Mac.
